How to Link PAN with Aadhar

The following methods can be used to connect your PAN card to Aadhaar:

 1) Go to the webpage for electronic tax filing:

Visit the income tax e-filing portal's official website at https://www.incometax.gov.in.

2) Click on the Link Aadhaar button:

Under the Quick Links section on the homepage, click on the "Link Aadhaar" button.

3) Fill in the required details:

Enter your PAN, Aadhaar number, and name as per Aadhaar.

4) Confirm the CAPTCHA:

To validate the CAPTCHA, enter the code that appears on the screen.

5) Click on "Link Aadhaar":

Upon the completion of the necessary information, click the "Connect Aadhaar" button.

6) Confirm your details:

Verify your name, date of birth, and gender as per PAN with Aadhaar.

7) Enter Aadhaar OTP:

An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number linked with Aadhaar. Enter the OTP on the e-filing portal to complete the linking process.

Alternatively, you can also link your PAN with Aadhaar by sending an SMS to 567678 or 56161 in the following format: UIDPAN<SPACE><12 digit Aadhaar number><SPACE><10 digit PAN number>.
